Walt Disney : Oliver and Company

The book is an adventure story based on the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist, but with an anthropomorphic animal cast set in 1980s New York City. It follows Oliver, an orphaned kitten who joins a gang of streetwise dogs led by Dodger and owned by Fagin. Oliver's journey includes falling in with the wealthy Foxworth family and escaping the threats of the villainous loan shark Sykes.
