The Tale of Mr.Jeremy Fisher

The story is about an optimistic and somewhat accident-prone frog named Mr. Jeremy Fisher who lives in a "damp little house amongst the buttercups at the edge of a pond". He sets off on a fishing expedition to catch minnows for his dinner but encounters a series of mishaps, including being bitten on the toe by a water-beetle and nearly eaten by a trout, which causes him to rethink his fondness for fishing. The book is part of Beatrix Potter's series of 23 little books, which also includes the famous The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
