My Chapter Book Collection : The Lazy Giant

The story is about a lazy and mean giant who dislikes work and captures twelve children to be his servants in his castle. The children are forced to do all the chores for him, but he remains ungrateful and treats them badly. One rainy day, the children seize an opportunity to escape by pushing the giant's carriage down a mountain when it gets stuck. The giant falls out, bangs his head, and learns his lesson about being kind and doing his own chores.
